Weigh your food

A few days ago I blogged about counting macros. I want to add that when tracking macros you should be weighing your food. This is the most accurate way to come up with a correct figure. When I started tracking macros I would try taking the serving size in cups or tablespoons off the package. Grams is the smallest unit of measurement so use that (it is usually listed right by the larger unit). Just put your bowl or plate on a food scale, zero the scale out, and add your food. 🙂 I know it sounds tedious and it is overwhelming at first but after awhile you will do it without even realizing it !
